#RationalWiki is facing imminent legal peril from 5 separate defamation lawsuits from 5 #eugenics supporters. At least 2 of the lawsuits appear to be frivolous on their face. The 5 litigants are known to have acted in concert to take advantage of the weak #SLAPP protections within our state of incorporation and to bankrupt us. We need both monetary donations and legal representation (we are already aware of both the ACLU and the #EFF).

@Nazani @no_design Thank you for the link, but I wish #RationalWiki would tone down its invectives. There is enough name-calling & biased reporting going around in our culture. The article gets better as one reads, but the first sentence or so is a real eye roller that betrays a certain amount of immaturity and therefore inspires unfortunate skepticism in readers. There are plenty of pointed criticisms of Intelligent Design. We don't need to jazz it up.

Nicholas Joseph "Neo-Nazi Nick"Fuentes is an alt-right radical-traditionalist Catholic, white supremacist, neo-Nazi, and self-described incel.

He operates and hosts the America First livestream podcast, which is currently hosted on a proprietary website after he was banned from both YouTube and DLive (which hosts other white supremacists and Neo-Nazis).

He is a disgraced academic and pseudointellectual who was investigated by the University of Oulu and found guilty of scientific misconduct due to plagiarism. Despite being pretentious and claiming on his curriculum vitae to be a "Professor of Evolutionary Psychology" at Asbiro University this is questionable at best (since Asbiro does not teach or award degrees in psychology). PZ Myers labeled him a fraud.

William Albert Dembski is an American who is one of the main pushers of the pseudoscience of intelligent design, specifically his unfalsifiable concept of "specified complexity".

Unusually for a creationist, he does in fact have some actual credentials: a Ph.D in mathematics from the University of Chicago, a Ph.D in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Now, if only one of those fine institutions recognized Intelligent Design as being anything but an absolute hodgepodge of nonsense, he'd be set.

Thus, despite having been educated at real universities, he "lectures" and "does research" at institutions that are at the very deep end of overtly faith-driven #pseudoscience.

James Delingpole is a right-wing British novelist, blogger, and in his own words, "an incredibly groovy guy." He identifies himself as "libertarian" which, in his case, seems to translate as free market and anti-science, as he shows no concern whatsoever for the civil liberties of groups he doesn't like and is an ardent chickenhawk who regularly denies the existence of the Israeli government's abuses. He likes to describe himself as "writer", eschewing the more accurate term "blogger". Presumably because too many people associate the term with "ignorant tosser with big opinions and no knowledge", which is an uncannily accurate description in Delingpole's case. He is also isn't terribly groovy, if his general fashion sense is anything to go by.
