"Latest"! You might say.

You'd be wrong. In fact, 'latest' has become an unwritten 'stable' because while you're SUPPOSED to pick your container version numbers, NOBODY does because everyone wants that sweet sweet auto-version-bump every time they deploy!

So then, container authors start employing various wacky pack conventions for what SHOULD be 'latest'.

Like: "Edge".
