Some parts of Taipei are just not beautiful, say what you might. I still love this city. Lack of trees, lack of calm, roads and motor vehicles on them apparently claim all available space. Visually these bits seem devoid of any clear architectural line beyond the functional, and expose aesthetics as irrelevant. Well, what the. Just stay where you want to go after passing through here. :)

Street scene that consists of a narrow road with highrises on all sides, cluttered facades of windows and air conditioning units. Cars, yellow taxis and traffic in the foreground, a narrow stretch of pale sepia evening sky above it. The high buildings make you feel small. Overall atmosphere is a dense and busy city, with no trees or much space to breathe. Not a place to stay but to pass through to elsewhere. Colours are mostly yellow-ish from the setting sun and car headlights.
