Finally, we asked 27 states & the union govt if they have any standing partnerships with Staqu Technologies—a company providing high-accuracy facial recognition tech to state police forces & govt bodies—if yes, we requested all the details (see RTI below). 4 states said no partnership exists, we await responses from others.
