Rimas Kudelis
Kažkokiu magišku būdu administratorius nutarė pakeisti vandentiekio ir nuotekų stovus mūsų laiptinėje (magišku, nes visi balsavimai nuosekliai neįvykdavo). Tai va vakar pusę dienos be vandens ir nuotekų gyvenau, šiandien irgi. Nei į WC nueit, nei rankų nusiplaut. #FirstWorldProblems

Kornel
I got used to 120Hz+ displays, and now 60Hz feels off. It's not visibly bad at all, but scrolling and mouse movement feel less like a physical motion, and more like pixels shifting on the screen. Hard to describe.

Which is annoying, because there are some nice 5K and 6K displays, but 60Hz. It wouldn't have bothered me at all if I didn't use 120Hz first!
Don't get high-refresh displays! ;)

#firstworldproblems

Foodie Kenobi 🇨🇦
You know when you are at IKEA and get the cart that does wide circles when you turn? That was me. #firstWorldProblems

Rev. caffinepwrd ☕
First world annoyance: Yesterday I went to Costco to get gas. The person in front of me and I pulled into the pumps at the same time.

I got out, and started to fill my truck. The person ahead of me was still in their CR-v.

In the time it took to fill the ~20 gallon tank and my 2.5 gallon emergency can, the person ahead of me just started getting out of their car.

They occupied the pump, not utilizing it in a timely fashion.

This grinds my gears because it disrespects other people. It's the same for people driving in the left lane below the speed limit. Or they have enough people in their car to use the HOV lane but they don't, taking up bandwidth.

#firstworldproblems

Dennou Reijuu-P (電脳隷従P)
Gotta love how apps and websites have activity indicators labeled in progress yet that means it’s doing nothing. If I see something in progress and that progress doesn’t seem to be happening that just frustrates me but it’s really funny at the same time. Seriously if you’re in progress that should mean you’re actually working and it’s sad that no one else understands why I get so riled up about that. #tech #firstworldproblems

bstow
@LoganFive We moved for my wife's sanity (she hated her job). We used to live 15 minutes from our boat and a pretty active sailing community. Technically I can still sail, I just have to drive a few hours to do it as there are no bodies of water nearby now that can handle anything bigger than a canoe. No more jumping in the car and heading over to the boat for a Friday night race. #firstworldproblems

Nicky🦨✌️
It’s not that they moved a park table to the edge of the lake blocking the walk-path for pedestrians and fisherpeople. It’s that when they go hone they’ll leave the table where they put it. #firstworldproblems

Low class attitude thinking— parks employees are not there to clean up after you personally. They maintain the park, they’re not service employees there to kiss your ass smile and say welcome.

For a place that puts such a high value on rules and regulations, it feels downright criminal how difficult it is to find bars/pubs in Singapore that serve "pints" which actually measure up to a pint (even with the pessimistic assumption that it will be a US liquid pint, 473mL).

Though I've probably just been spoiled by great pubs and CAMRA beer festivals in the UK.

Well that wasn't annoying. The Savers web site clearly says the West Roxbury donation center opens at 7:30 AM, so I drove down there right at 7:30 with a bunch of stuff and they were NOT open and the sign there says 9:00 AM.

Yes I could have been an a*hole and just dumped my donations, but I brought them back home and I'll return later today.
