He knew: girls always, ALWAYS, want to DANCE - first and FOREMOST. Standing in front of a live band - they want to melt away their minds, forget about their emotions, let go of the world, and land - IN THE BODY, ON EARTH, eyes CLOSED - where the blood starts to pulse, and the hips start to shake, and the feet start to twitch and one is just - gone baby gone... to the beat of course, but also to every surprise thread of instrumentation - which is where the hands rejoice in their flourishes and the soul flies free alongside of every note and improvisation...
