KIT-Fakultät für InformatikDas Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) ist mit gleich zwei Cluster-Anträgen im Finale der Exzellenzstrategie von Bund und Ländern erfolgreich! Neben POLiS zur Batterieforschung wurde auch der Cluster 3D Matter Made to Order gemeinsam zur Förderung ausgewählt.Mitbeteiligt an 3DMM2O ist Pascal Friederich vom Institut für Theoretische Informatik. Er trägt mit datengetriebenen Modellen zur Simulation und Optimierung von 3D-Druckprozessen entscheidend zum Erfolg bei. KIT-Fakultät für InformatikNach seiner Juniorprofessur an der KIT-Fakultät für Informatik zog es Henning Meyerhenke zunächst an die Universität Köln und im Anschluss für einige Jahre an die Humboldt-Universität Berlin. Nun tritt er im Sommersemester seine Professur "Exascale Algorithm Engineering" bei uns in Karlsruhe an!
