SaaraI have managed to keep my new years resolution to cut my caffeine consumption to half. I now drink coffee 3-4 cups a week instead of 7-10. I don't like drinking coffee every day because I can feel the caffeine tolerance go up quite quickly and I hate feeling tired from the low key withdrawal. I'm now way less tired as baseline and I can feel the energizing effects of coffee better. Many people who have trouble waking up in the morning are long time coffee drinkers. If you are addicted to caffeine you will have some level of withdrawal tiredness when you wake up which is why you might not be able to function before the delicious morning coffee.
