the more i do to make use of a spare amd instinct with a #pi5, the more i find that this idea seemed better on paper. because @geerlingguy got an amd gpu to work with a pi5, i haven’t been able to convince myself to exit this rabbit hole.

@wookiearocket haha did you mount the GPU on the Pi or the Pi on the GPU??
@geerlingguy it started looking like the latter, but i think I’ve committed to try to make it the former (plus add a power supply adequate for the gpu, cooling for the gpu, and who knows what else). even though i haven’t been able to try to do anything with it yet, at least i know the gpu is recognized on the pi5!
