Can you imagine a world with average global air temperatures exceeding 15.5 C? That's 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels.  That's a world with temperature extremes, droughts and floods (think atmospheric rivers and large forest fires), winds, tornadoes, hurricanes, "bomb cyclones"... and a massive reduction in food production.  All that in the next 5-7 years.  Consider further that these phenomena do NOT plateau.   Nope.  They accelerate.  Welcome to the #newworseningnormal.
