Always make time to find the essence of who they are and the “still me” existing inside our loved ones with #dementia.
@LEAD_Coalition Ian, sound advice as always. Uhm..I would like to submit some chewy food for thought: in addition to the usual suspects (memory, mood, brain function), the deposits can hit anywhere on your brain changing usually personal choices like taste, smell etc. You are already a new person and it just may be cruelty to force you to be your old self. I explain better here..

@LEAD_Coalition oh yeah fergot...dunno how long we have known each other but when we met, I held absolutely no fear of death, it just wasn't there. My friend with same stage LBD is the same no fear at all. And when I stumbled across this bit of work I did on something it made me realize at this late(r) stage, I still have zero fear of the end, death, etc so I think I can maintain this all the way. Had a friend who died and was scared to...well you know. I don't want to be him.
