I've come across a few new cars (Fiat) in Missouri for around $20k, not something you see very often anymore. I'm debating whether to make the drive to look or not. Rates are still high but my credit union threw me a bone on financing, a couple points under national average. This car would be driven by me for 4 yrs then given to our daughter at 16, I think in long terms.
Has anyone seen any new cars for that price with an interest rate under 4%? I'd like to hear about it if so.
@That_One_Guy How rigid is that price point? I might suggest looking into a Toyota Corolla Cross, it's above your price, but I don't think they're having much luck selling them, I certainly haven't seen any around, and I drive for a living, so their might be some deals to be had there. As to interest rate, shop around, @lirleni just got a used car loan through them and seems happy enough with the rate
@taur10
I haven't seen anyone offering under 4% unless on specific models. I'm very rigid on the price point. I wasn't even planning on a new vehicle currently but for $20,700 on a car with 6 miles at 3.8% is hard to pass up. Current used car rate is 11%, national average. I know people get less but it's credit based.
@lirleni
@That_One_Guy @lirleni The price is higher, but I'd be expect there are some dealers stuck with those trucks that'd be willing to make a deal, although not that low, prolly around 24 to 25K since they're model is built around turning cars around as fast as possible.
