Obviously we are not the only country to feel justified with defending ourselves because NATO military chiefs had a closed door security summit in Paris and the US was not invited. Japan and Australia were there.

How long before we say the US WAS the leading member of NATO? I think Trump has been clear that the US will not come to the defense of 'some' NATO members.

I just wanted to make sure folks got your receipts. To be honest, it is shocking that NATO felt it should hold a major summit without the US. I would not have believed that would happen, a year ago.
It is not the norm but I didn't find it shocking, I was surprised it took this long to shut the door on the US.
@adamvs1 @Snowshadow @Greengordon Yes, it is also shocking to learn that Marco Rubio had to say "I can assure you this, we will not be providing military aid to the Russians." That's how much we trust them worldwide :/
@adamvs1 @Snowshadow @Greengordon I don't think NATO held the meeting. They are just saying the countries there included NATO and European countries, and some others. It wasn't a NATO event.
@Susibryant @Snowshadow @Greengordon Strictly speaking it wasn’t a NATO meeting, as it had non-NATO allies attending. But when every member of a club is invited, save “That Guy”, you gotta think something is up.

@adamvs1 @Snowshadow Europe is going to have to step up to defend itself from both Russia and a deranged USA, which puts them in a similar security position as the German Empire before WWI. It's incumbent on the decent folk in the US to prevent the madness if possible as the consequences will be catastrophic, Europe is a nuclear power too, is invading Canada worth trading NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.
@raven667 Yewsterday France offered their nukes to another country. Poland is thinking aoubt implementing the draft and they aer moving troops nearer their borders...that is only tow point.
