Here’s my #introduction.
I am a climate scientist who studies the ocean carbon cycle and marine CO₂ removal (#mCDR).
I’m a professor at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I’m also a co-founder and Chief Science Officer at [C]Worthy, which is creating open source tools for monitoring, reporting, and verification (#MRV) of mCDR.
According to the New York Times, here are my interests.
@davidho 'wry observations' eh!?
@IanMBrooks I guess "ban cars from cities" counts.
@davidho welcome to the other place David.
David, I just have to ask, did you do any of your undergrad in Toronto?
@chu I didn’t. I’m not sure if I have ever been to Toronto but I would like to remedy that.
Thanks. Clearly another David Ho out there.
If you ever do hit Toronto, hit me up. Would love to show you the joint.
@davidho hello and welcome!
@davidho You talk oceans? Doesn't your mouth get dry?
@davidho
So I am fascinated by marine mammal ear evolution, and have read that their built-up earwax is an historical treasure trove for science.
Do you know about this, and have you ever used or sought these wax plugs?
