Reasons I love RSS, #43:
I started my morning by reading through new blog posts and one of them started with:
"It has been almost five years since I last posted to this blog."
Had it not been for RSS, I would have completely missed out their return to blogging.
@hamatti We definitely have different habits on this. From time to time I tend to do some cleaning and the first ones to go are those who haven't posted anything for over one year.
@andreagrandi I basically never remove blogs because they've went silent. Most of the time one gets removed if they post regularly and I find myself skipping their posts constantly.
@hamatti Oh that too! In some cases I had to use a service to filter out stuff because there is someone I want to follow but they post too many "Quote" and so I'm following through a customised feed
