That's all folks!
@lionelb Thanks for sharing. Even for someone like me – that is, a man without a driving license – it is nice to look at such beautiful cars, busses and tractors, not ruined by aerodynamic dictates.
Very welcome. They are few in number. I don't mind if they continue to burn oil products. They are beautiful examples of design, from a time when that went beyond function, into the realm of dreams.
@lionelb Then I suppose you also like steam locomotives (like I do)?
Yes, they need coal and yes, you can smell it, but it is the best present-day use of coal I can think of.
(Photo taken many years ago on a family outing. My parents treated us on a trip with this train in South-Limburg in the Netherlands, on the so-called Miljoenenlijn (because developing it costed approximately one million guilders per kilometre).)
When I was a child I was too small to see over the bridge but I used to breathe in the anthracite smoke. I still enjoy it.
Getting 'museum' coal will remain relatively easy. Making petrol on a small scale will be quite challenging. Tax on it will disappear but it will be very expensive because of the small scale production.
