Trump does not want peace in Ukraine. He claims he wants peace, because it sounds like something you cannot be against.
But Trump has been "for peace" for more than a year, and at no point has he presented any tangible peace plan, because it does not exist.
What he sees is Ukraine depending on the US, and he wants to profit from that dependency. And if that puts Ukraine's future in peril it does not matter, because in his twisted mind, Ukraine is just a Biden ally and therefore a Trump enemy.

To a #fascist, other fascist regimes are competitors, but the greatest threat is a well informed population that doesn’t accept being ruled by a fascist.
Hence the free Europe is both a threat and an influence and resource option.
Trump and Putin both share that view on Europe.
