@nosw Loved listening this episode. Really interesting listening to winter and ageing. Turning 40 last year, I have felt many slowly creeping pains across the last few cold weeks. I have definitely aged faster than my years, and, currently accompanied by a lower back twinge brought on by a lingering cough, I find myself moving slowly and carefully, and far more understanding of those older friends and passers by, who have many more years in their bones, and move carefully about at their own pace. I wonder why we wait till we are forced to slow down, and not take our time all the way through. It is as if we are born, and quickly move into the motorway, slowly moving onto busy A roads as we near the middle, before moving onto the canal in later years.
Maybe when my children take to their own roads my wife and I can again chose our own paths.
Only time will tell I suppose.
