1. Demand that Congress block Trump's ability to levy tariffs.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson are both threatening to end courts and get rid of judges that rule against Trump. Let your senators and congressperson know this must never happen.
The Trump administration is trying to bulldoze us over with such force that we give up.

- Now we've learned that Trump's top people have also left their contact information strewn about online, even some passwords. That's plenty of information for foreign governments to have already hacked their phones. Investigate. This is the US, these people must be removed from our government.

Today I called my senators and congressperson to say:
- We're not at war with Yemen, yet Hegseth bombed a civilian apartment complex, potentially killing dozens of innocent families in hopes of taking out one person that our administration doesn't like. I'm not fluent in international law, but that sounds like a blatant crime against humanity to me. Investigate and get everyone involved out.

Three reasons to #CallYourReps today.
1. Congress needs to demand accountability for the Signal fiasco.
(questions we need answered: If the Signal chat wasn't classified, why not release it to the public? Why deliberately break the law to block communications from being archived? Who else in Trump admin is doing this?)

I think our positive feedback is just as important as negative. Humans need to know that they are appreciated and supported, especially now that Republican leadership has openly threatened Democrats with violence.

Because they're always going to do the wrong thing, until they don't. We don't yet know where the tipping point is, and we'd better throw ourselves into the task of finding it. We need all hands on deck right now. Your voice matters.
I'm starting a new hashtag, #CallYourReps to encourage and support US voters who want to stop Republicans and the Trump administration from destroying democracy and wreaking global havoc.
I'm no political genius, but we don't need to be political geniuses to be heard. I'll stick to simple topics and ideas for people who just feel a little awkward and aren't sure where to start or what to say.

Autistic Self Advocacy Network has a "proxy caller" system set up with volunteers, for people who can't make phone calls due to a disability!
They will make calls FOR you if you want to call your Congresspeople about one of the action alerts on their site. You do have to agree with their position on the issue (for example, "yes, we should protect Medicaid") for them to call for you.
