Das will die Jugend von heute ja gar nicht mehr alles wissen, aber der 3.10 ist der Feiertag, den wir hier in Deutschland anlässlich des Todes von FJS begehen. Am 3.10 1988 starb FJS. Und der damalige Bundeskanzler Helmut Kohl hat sich darüber so sehr gefreut, dass er diesen Tag als ewigen Feiertag im deutschen Gedächtnis verankern wollte. Endlich war er weg!

Und wenn sich die Jugend heute fragt, wer wohl FJS war und ob das überhaupt wichtig ist, dann kann man darauf nur antworten, dass das eigentlich völlig egal ist. Hauptsache ein freier Feiertag!

Geschichte: #FJS in #Südafrika

... 1988 war der damalige #CSU -Chef #Strauß Ehrengast von Außenminister Pik Botha. Die Abschaffung der Apartheid sei "unverantwortlich" und die Gleichstellung der schwarzen Mehrheit "nicht wünschenswert", sagte Strauß damals. Treffen mit ANC-Vertretern lehnte er ab. Bei einem Auftritt vor #Buren rief er: "Nie in meinem 40-jährigen politischen Leben habe ich eine so ungerechte und unfaire Behandlung eines Landes erlebt, wie sie Südafrika widerfährt."
