14mission<p>Found my old Pentax in my parents' house. Guess I left it there 20 years ago when I thought I was done shooting film.<br>The deadhead sticker definitely ID's it as mine (it came that way!).<br>Anyway, mechanically it seems pretty good, but the light meter isn't working, even with a new battery.<br>This seems to be pretty common for older film cameras.<br>Any suggestions? I watched a YT video about how to open them up and work on them, and after that, I think I'd really rather not.<br>This seems to be a pretty common scenario: old film camera works *except* the light meter is dead. Any of you <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/filmphotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>filmphotography</span></a> fedis have any suggestions.<br>Like any tricks to get these things working *besides* a teardown?
