Andrew Davison<p>Folks who are interested in <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@trmnl" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>trmnl</span></a></span> might want to seek out an <a href="https://social.dvsn.net/tags/OpenFrame" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenFrame</span></a> given the <a href="https://social.dvsn.net/tags/TRMNL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TRMNL</span></a> folks are happy for their servers to be used with other devices for a small fee. 👍</p><p>The touch screen on the OpenFrame matches the 800x480 resolution of the TRMNL's <a href="https://social.dvsn.net/tags/eink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>eink</span></a> display, so with a tiny bit of scripting you can mix TRMNL plugins and whatever full-colour content you may fancy.</p><p>My TRMNL is on its way, but I've been using the <a href="https://social.dvsn.net/tags/OpenFrame" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenFrame</span></a> to play with the API in the meantime.
