DENNIS BRENNAN AND THE WHITE OWLS
"END OF THE BLUES"
End of the Blues

"End of the Blues" is a Dennis Brennan song that I don't remember hearing before now. He has been known for such songs as "Crying on the Avenue" and "I Got My Own." "End of the Blues" may become my DB favorite.
Brennan first came to my attention with a Boston band, Push Push. According to the Push Push section of an online post
http://terrykit.blogspot.com/2013/09/ten-80s-boston-bands-that-mattered-and.html
he was already a veteran scenester by that time.
Predictable Digression:
A few of my own favorites covered by that article are The Atlantics ("Lonelyhearts," "Can't Wait Forever"), Knots and Crosses (pretty much the entire catalog), and The Schemers ("I Want Some Fun," also known as "Some Fun" by the subsequent band, The Raindogs).
It is time that Dennis Brennan, as his song says, gets his own.
