Been a while since I've seen this. I swear movies made in the 90s are the best of the best. I think thats when #cinema hit its peak.
Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear - just stellar performance. Music - top tier.
boxd.itA ★★★★ review of As Good as It Gets (1997)I love this movie so much. Every person cast just plays their role so perfect. This was the movie for Jack Nicholson to shine. Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear. The writing is quick witted and top tier. The music selection - *chef kiss*. The chemistry between Kinnear and Hunt and Nicholson are just unmatched. And truly holds up in todays age. Even right down to the medical insurance lol.

Joa, war ganz witzig und hatte auch schöne Anekdoten. Das Ende war sehr süß. Am besten fand ich aber die Kulissen - da wär ich auch gern (gut, wer nicht, haha). Kann man sich auf jeden Fall angucken

#Watched Dope Girls. Whilst I am not the biggest fan of giving historical dramas a modern soundtrack, I forgive this show as it pressed my interwar decadence, noirish crime, spiritualism/seance and brothelesque interior design buttons. Enjoyed it.

boxd.itA ★★½ review of The Gorge (2025)Eh Thats all I can say about this film. "Eh." I didn't hate it. But definitely didn't love it. I can see the allure of it and why its so popular - but I found it so cliche and predictable. Painfully so. I saw every jump scare coming. I figured out who the bad guy was and the purpose of everything was the moment they arrived. Good popcorn movie, but thats about it.
