@BKJoyLife Internet. Encourage them to lean into their interests and fixations and find online communities like Twitch, Discord or Tumblr. It’s 2025, online friends are often more reliable now than in person ones.
@RebeccaBredin So true. 4 me it's finding groups that are in2 what I'm. Nothing seems to last long for online or offline friends with me.
I can't really do much where I'm living. As I am preparing 2 go back 2 school 4 #cybersecurity .

@BKJoyLife I know for me, my biggest hurdle with online was realizing that the social circles have changed. I made my first online community through LiveJournal, which is obviously a very dead format now. I started watching streamers on Twitch and participating in the chats and it really helped me get more comfortable with the new ways that people socialize online. A lot of your interests there are huge genres on Twitch so you may find a good fit to ease into.
