Years ago, about mid-March, a brother in law and I headed out to fish old gravel pits. 1st time fishing that year. Ice had just gone out.
I had a huge hit. A few cranks of the reel and a huge bass was at my feet. My brother in law got out a $1 bill (6"), mesuring the fish at 4 bills - 24".
I could easily fit my hand and wrist in her mouth. I was stunned.
I didn't bring a camera figured I wouldn't catch anything so early in the season.
@GregArcus sure sure you did, the fish was thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big. 
Seriously, that sounds amazing. I can't imagine bringing in a bass that big.
@cetan Strip pits can really produce, but so few near here are public. Sometimes you have to be, uh... sneaky.
