@hopkinsdavid I personally believe that ChatGPT should be treated like calculators in math class. It should be allowed to help write papers. But students still need to cite their sources and understand the material. Different methods of testing should be used such as "tell me everything you know about" etc. Also oral exams are another good option for assessing understanding.
@atomic agree. Understand the tech and the changes it brings/offers and then understand how it can be used (and abused). Be educated and then you can educate.
