A cold front moving through will bring rain which will be heavy at times. It tapers off mid-afternoon but showers remain through tomorrow. High around 16.
Rain showers linger into tomorrow with the best chance near the mountains. Rain from our next cold front begins later in the afternoon, high near 14.
Rain continues overnight and tapers off Friday morning before clearing in the afternoon.
@ingalls Raining pretty good for the past 6 hours in Whaletown, BC.
@mlanger not going to be a fun ride to get the crab traps eh
@ingalls I managed to squeak in between downpours. I also managed to get both traps onto my dinghy so just one trip. I caught one keeper and since I have no desire to clean and cook just one crab, I threw it back. It was a red rock crab and a pretty decent size.
Both traps are set again at the Octopus Islands where we are anchored for two nights. I’ll check them around 8, hopefully before today’s rain starts.
Do you know of any good radar apps?
@mlanger I use RadarOmega and I believe there is a radar site up that way, though I'm not sure how well it does up the fjords with all that terrain. RadarScope is also good. Both have something like a $9 up front cost.
@ingalls This is as far north as we’re going: the octopus islands. We start heading south again tomorrow. The radar app I have for the US doesn’t go this far north. I’ll check that one out. Thank you.
