I have a suggestion for you. When things get tough, spending time in nature can be really helpful. So, if you can, go hug a tree today! The bigger the better.

Happy Jenny's Birtthday! Today she would have been 60.

Years ago (on G+ so i can't resurrect what I said exactly) I started a "tradition" that goes something like this:

Jenny loved trees, so for her birthday, I like to find a tree to hug. Everybody, find a tree, hug it, 'cause Jenny is awesome & the world is a much poorer place without her.

(Yes, i was low on spoons so i just copied a past post but the sentiment remains as strong)

Behind a small wall through a wooden door. The Chandos (call bill on the renaming to minchenden ) oak. Listed in the doomsday book. Sketched at 80” in the 17th century.

Good Morning Canada!
Today is National Arbor Day which means we celebrate our trees and organize planting parties to increase the time spent raking leaves every fall. Did you know that Canada is ranked 2nd out of all countries in terms of trees per capita? There 422 trees per person worldwide (3.04 trillion trees) but each Canadian has 8,953 individual trees that they can hug. It's just science people.
