That's it for the week, let's get a beer.
Heading over to Keg and Case soon for #MNTech Happy Hour. I'm pretty sure @MattPacyga is buying the beers.
See you soon.
There will be video of my talk (https://sessions.minnestar.org/sessions/1327) for those who are interested. In the meantime, here’s a little teaser.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen!
Special shout-out to the amazing Maria Ploessl, Minnestar’s outgoing executive director. Maria, you’re fantastic. The whole community is going to miss you.
Yesterday was the first full-size, full-scale Minnebar since the pandemic started…and it was magical.
Seeing the familiar faces, the new faces, the sessions, the indie game arcade, and the excitement was like the sun coming out from behind the clouds.

Local #mntech:
I submitted a panel session for #minnebar on Burnout in Tech - https://sessions.minnestar.org/sessions/1393
The only problem: I need some more panelists
If you're local, or know someone locally willing to talk openly on a panel with me, please get in touch!
It has been an absolute dream to have Maria Ploessl lead Minnestar for the last six years. She has made a huge impact on the #MNTech and startup community in ways we couldn't have anticipated when we hired her as the first ED. While I am immensely sad to see her go, I know that she's ready to take on a new adventure and is helping create yet another opportunity for Minnestar.

Minnebar 17 is now accepting sessions! https://sessions.minnestar.org The event isn’t until April 22, but no time like the present.
Note that you’re not •applying• to lead a session at Minnebar; you’re •volunteering•! This is an unconference. Sessions are volunteer-driven. They’re fluid. You can give a polished talk, share something cool, facilitate open-ended discussion, or just invite folks to gather around a shared interest. Jump on in!
