Thinking this week about how we've totally adapted to life now.
Curbside pickups. Delivery dinners. Avoid crowded places.
Mask wearing is completely automatic and not even given a second thought when we're out or around people.
Before Covid it would have been none of this.
Anything can be normalized and truly is NBD.
Except for all those who couldn't even be bothered to try.
What a place we would be in now if governments had made an effort to normalize precautions and mask wearing, instead of normalizing being sick all the time.
That's what most people's "new normal" looks like now.
No thanks. I'll prefer my new normal, which also includes not being sick for 4 years now.
When you are one of 5 or so people in your 200+ people office still masking, and you hear someone unmasked coughing somewhere in your open layout office.
