Glad I stopped using PIA.
Glad I stopped using PIA.
De Linux experience gaat nog even door. Vanmiddag ClamAV antivirus en PIA VPN geïnstalleerd...middels command prompts! So proud.
Ensure that if you have an account with #PIA private internet access, know that ALL accounts are set to auto-renew by default. You MUST opt-out manually.
This company is a far cry from what it was when I initially signed up years ago. It has only gotten worse, and this is the nail in the coffin for me doing business with them.

Ensimmäistä kertaa kaukojunassa varmaan noin viiteen vuoteen. VR:n wifi blokkaa aika tehokkaasti VPN-yhteydet.
If your #VPN is one of these, you've been tricked, scammed, and fcuk'd by #genocialentity and #ashkeNAZI spies at #Unit8200, #duvdevan & #KapeTechnologies

This company is one of the main supporters of the Arch Linux User Repositories, and claims to be privacy centric, claiming to have supported many Free and Open Source Software projects (thanks!) as well as the EFF.
They appear to have overlooked the potential privacy problems of cross-site resources, which the EFF's own Privacy Badger picks up! I'm not sure how compatible this is with their no-logs policy.
I've had good luck with #PrivateInternetAccess
I just woke up to #PIA routing all my traffic through China instead of the US, with all my Quick Connect settings erased. #PrivateInternetAccess
EDIT: I pay for their service because it is Linux friendly, so this was very interesting to see.
Industry-best #VPN #PrivateInternetAccess just unveiled a record-breaking offer of $1.98/month for #privacy-focused users willing to commit to their unlimited device 3-year subscription plan.

So happy with my VPN, I have always liked to always be on a VPN but previously, I had found the software just didn't do a very good job of that. After recent events I renewed the idea of just putting every system I own constantly on a fully secure VPN. I'm using Private Internet Access (PIA) and it has been super, super reliable. Connections reconnect fast when I go from cellular to WiFi and such, not like the old days at all!
Oh and best of all, the Split Tunnel is working beautifully on my Mac running Sonoma, absolutely beautifully. The one thing I need to have off the VPN (ZeroTier) has no problem at all.
The best #VPN deal in the US! #PrivateInternetAccess offers unbeatable online security at just $1.98/month, including 4 months free and 500GB cloud storage

Can anyone vouch for the #VPN #PrivateInternetAccess for #torrenting?
Interesting bug.
Edit: Bypassed with custom VPN I made myself using WireGuard.
PIA has been compromised for years btw. I knew that from no other than Dan K. As well as a guy named Ash in the Feds. Saw it on his subpoenas (IPVanish was subpeonaed).
Pretty much any commercial VPN is a lie. They are required to do logging to abide by federal and municipal laws in order to operate.
Unscrupulous enterprises sell VPN services in mainland China, but now they have been unable to use them for 3 consecutive months. They have no technical support, no customer service, no follow-up solutions, and no refunds to users. Call on everyone to boycott these two shameless companies and refuse to use their services.
