On this day fourteen years ago, on 6 April 2011, the second radio pulsar discovered with @einsteinathome was published.
Our distributed computing project had started almost exactly two years earlier to analyze data from the Arecibo radio telescope with the help of tens of thousands of volunteers.
This second discovery was special: the pulsar orbits the common center of mass with a white dwarf in just 9.4 hours and it belongs to a rare “species”.

At the time, it was assumed that this pulsar could be used to observe relativistic effects. This was finally achieved in 2022 after many more observations: https://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/full_html/2022/12/aa44699-22/aa44699-22.html

But how is time actually made and what role does Einstein's theory of relativity play in it? This question is answered in this article on our online portal “Einstein Online”:

The article doesn’t say too much, but is it surprising to find the universe may be more complicated than we currently think it is?

Well, this morning I came across MyHeritage's new "Theory of Relativity" and I'll give it 10 out of 10.
Not because it's 100% accurate because it isn't. It has the same glitches dependent on the accuracy of member's trees.that Ancestry Thrulines has.
But where it DOES excel over Ancestry is that it lets you REJECT the erroneous paths.
It's found some paths I already have as Ancestry Thrulines ... And paths for non-Ancestry DNA testers.

I mean, the #theoryOfRelativity explains gravity as a curvature of spacetime. That curvature is by definition not uniform. Does that imply that #pi is altered locally under relativistic gravity?
