Archie and Cassie attempt some magic in the Dreamlands and it works, but not as intended. This is the first time they've been here in dream and so they have to use Dreaming to affect the world around them. Their magical training makes them good at this and then soon get on with what they came here for, a 15C monk caught in a stasis spell.

There's no time to chase Crispin this week as Austin Osman Spare has been brought in to reinforce the sigil guarding the portal. There are some difficulties but overcome with careful magics and the job is done. Next week, back to the Dreamlands to see where the portal is coming from.

Clear the air with Muster, keeping him away from his mine and then scry for the missing student Crispin with his wicket-keeping glove, with protection. Once again, they are confronted by the fly they get each time they scry for Carthusians. It seems to be guarding the library directly, so is Crispin in the library, or in the fly?

We realised that we still had more to investigate in Bangkok in @pelgranepress's #EternalLies tonight. Both @TheTweedmeister and my characters are severely changed by their experiences and it becomes more apparent that a return to normality for them is probably off the cards. That makes all the more bittersweet that we have just let an NPC we trust into the secret of what is going on.

Back to London to meet the Carthusian mouth piece, he explains much but keeps back something. But he promises a method to enter the Dreamlands and approach the leaky portal from the obverse. And now they have a proper version of the sigil which is failing in its duty and Austin Osman Spare along to inscribe it.

It's panic in the mine as contagion breaks out and many succumb to the spores. Our heroes were well prepared and managed to get all but 15 out, and they've called in the Ordnance Geological Survey (Section D), a government group who deal with weird phenomena.

Archie and Cassie met the mine owner and get possibly rather too much information about the history of mining in Nottinghamshire from the foreman. But they do find a weird artifact and on their visit to the mine with the owner and his wife, find that the contagion is spreading.

Blog - On Tuesday night we moved into the endgame of the #EternalLies campaign for @pelgranepress's #trailofcthulhu #ttrpg. It was a chance to reflect and take stock, as both @TheTweedmeister and I dug through and compared the copious amounts of notes that we have made.
Our conclusion is that we have been scratching at the surface, and that deep insights are few and far between. The Liar obfuscates and thwarts, but we will move on, and perhaps even prevail.

Cassie was surprised at the reach of this, Archie more so: ""It is quite alarming. How are we to track the progress of English cricket if proper records aren't being kept?"

Archie and Cassie follow a lead to the Great Library of the Dreamlands and find it links to Charterhouse. They make enquiries and a meeting is set up in the Smithfields Cafe. They seem to have a common ground in opposition to She Who Walks Behind the Trees.
