Nach etlichen Tests und Experimenten (https://mstdn.mv2k.com/deck/@memo/113933633087257393), steht für mich fest, dass #QMapShack (https://github.com/Maproom/qmapshack) all das kann, was ich gerne in meinem #BaseCamp Ersatz sehen möchte.
Es bietet sogar noch weitere Funktionen, mit denen ich nicht gerechnet habe:
- Einbindung von eigenen Maps, zum Beispiel die #OpenFietsMap, im Garmin *.img Format
- Die direkte Kommunikation mit Import und Export meines Garmin Orgeon 650 über die USB Schnittstelle.
- Den Import von Wayponts (POI).
Damit steht der Testsieger für mich (!) fest. Alle anderen Tools habe ich bereits wieder deinstalliert 
Ich bin heute auf der Suche nach …
… einem möglichst vollwertigen Ersatz für Garmins Basecamp.
Nachdem ich mittlerweile mit der Einkaufsliste / Bestandsverwaltung #Grocy (https://mstdn.mv2k.com/deck/@memo/113922072350218372) sehr zufrieden bin, ist die letzte #Software, die mich noch an #Windows bindet - #Basecamp (https://www.garmin.com/de-DE/software/basecamp/).
Sollte ich einen passenden Ersatz für #Linux finden, kann ich mich komplett von #Microsoft verabschieden
Die Alternative sollte #GPX Dateien importieren und im Anschluss editieren 
können, sowie möglichst #OpenStreeMap als #Kartenmaterial verwenden. Das Einbinden anderer Karten wie zum Beispiel der #OFM (OpenFietsMap https://www.openfietsmap.nl/) wäre ein nicht zu verachtender Bonuspunkt.
Zurzeit nutze ich die “Organic Maps Betaversion” (https://organicmaps.app/de/) und zum Bearbeiten den “Viking GPS data editor” (https://sourceforge.net/p/viking/wikiallura/Main_Page/).
Das funktioniert (irgendwie) ist aber für den ständigen, oder schnellen Gebrauch nicht die Ideallösung ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My advice: Keep the tech stack simple! Use fullstack frameworks like #Django and add some sugar on top with e.g. #HTMX and #AlpineJS. Accept that the web is document-based. #Basecamp and #Hey are good examples for this "UI-style". But sure, go ahead and create the next GMail-UI or Asana-UI if you have the money and resources

I have a #Basecamp account linked to company A. Company B also uses Basecamp and have now added me to their company. How do I access Company B's Basecamp instance?
I have a link that's supposed to go there, but it just shows me Company A's instance.
When I search on Google, it just shows me articles about the admin side. Not the end user side.

Folks - don't do this. It breaks your customer relationship and in this case it slows down a workflow so badly (screenshot, save to desktop, upload, delete from desktop... really?)
You don't need to re-invent the wheel. There's so many text editors in existence that tackle this. It's a staple element with an expected behaviour.
