Thilo, EE 🤘🏼🇪🇺⚛🎗️<p>Yeah, I'm still around. 😁<br>Finally, I managed to pick up all the parts for the keyboard:<br>A Skiller SGK50 S3 barebone, 4 boxes of Cherry MX Ergo Clear switches, and the keys I showed before. One fell off, but that’s a quarter done!</p><p>I’ll need to get signed up as an official member and return to finish this off another time…</p>

They would also be better for portability (less fragile).</p>
The Peter Pan of Nerdery™ 🇦🇺🏜️<p>Credit where credit's due - I say again, the keyboard and trackpad on the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MacbookPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MacbookPro</span></a> (mine anyway - M1 Pro) are really, really good. I don't think I've ever enjoyed typing on a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/laptop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>laptop</span></a> keyboard or using a trackpad before but this is certainly a great experience for a die hard <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mechanicalkeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mechanicalkeyboard</span></a> and mouse user.</p><p>The kid reached 108wpm using monkeytype - damn. He's insane on laptop keebs. I'll have to see how I test later.</p>
