A few photos from today's walk at #DashPoint.
A walk through the woods, followed by a bunch of gardening work, has laid me low. 7 miles today according to my Fitbit. Am tired.

A rainy visit to #DashPoint today, greeting the #fungi, #sanddollars, trees and #mosses. Love where I live.
(2/2) Here's my wife's video of the same owl, just chilling and being awesome. We didn't stick around long; didn't want to put her off her hunt.
(1/2) Out walking yesterday with my wife, I spotted what I'm pretty sure is a #BarredOwl perched on a branch about twenty feet away from us. Her attention was mostly focused on the pond nearby, but we definitely caught a cautious glance from her.
If was really something special to see the bird just doing her thing, probably waiting for a frog to snack on.
Went to #DashPoint for a walk today, spotted a couple rock friends and some cool #mosses.
Love how looking for this stuff forces you to slow down and enjoy the trails; it's almost meditative.

Hello Internet! Took a walk at #DashPoint this afternoon and found some small blooming plants.
Found this cheerful little rock in a tree at Dash Point, WA on the 11th.
No idea who put it there, or how many folks it has greeted on the trail. It's got a peaceful place to hang out, and made me smile back at it.
Such things shouldn't be taken for granite.
Got a chance to go for a quick #hike along the trails in the #forest near #DashPoint, A small #park near #FederalWayWA.
A lot of things are still brown and dead-looking, but the #ferns and #mosses are ready for spring. First nice day at the #beach this year - I'm kinda spoiled to live within 10 minutes of forests and beaches.
It was good to hear the #nature sounds and see everybody out walking their dogs. I miss having dogs sometimes.
