Nepenthes alata surprise!
Still a small plant, but already pushing out basals with their own little pitchers! Love seeing this one grow and prepare for the future. Tiny but mighty!

Nepenthes {maxima × northiana} update!
My plant is putting in some serious work—growing a big new pitcher while also producing tiny ones on fresh basals! Love seeing this hybrid thrive. Can’t wait to see that big one open!

My Sarracenia rubra ssp. Wherryi #pitcherplant had outgrown its pot, such that the rhizome was distorting the plastic (photo 1). Could have divided it into three plants (photo 2) but didn't because I didn't want to shock it. So, repotted the whole thing into a larger, taller pot (photo 3). We hope that it lives long and prospers
#Nepenthes glandulifera, a species of pitcher plant endemic to the Hose Mountains, Sarawak, is so named because it is covered in numerous black nectar glands. Apparently, the glands are even present on the seed pods! This species stays compact and grows reasonably well in household conditions.
#Nepenthes truncata is a lowland to intermediate pitcher plant species from the Philippines. These plants grow large enough to trap mice, though capturing mammals is a rare occurrence, and they cannot digest bone.
