With Android 16, the absence of device trees and driver binaries means developers will face significant challenges. 
This shift to Cuttlefish as the reference platform could hinder projects like GrapheneOS and LineageOS, making development much more difficult.

Maintaining an Android app in Google Play Store is a lot of work
Since GrapheneOS has problems to get the sources of Android 16, I call on all Android OEMs to help the project. The developers behind GrapheneOS are doing a great job and it would be a shame if they could no longer do this in the future.
I know it's Saturday, but does anyone in the #AndroidDev community know how to animate from ExtendedFAB to FAB when scrolling like it does on the left?
This is it in a compose-sample project and for the life of me I can't find the code where this is in the repo of it to see.
My app (Right) just jitters from ExtendedFAB to FAB.

Me acabo de enterar en plena migración a compose de mi app de rutas, que osmdroid ha sido descontinuado.
Es una pena porque era una libreria maravillosa para quitar a Google de en medio.
Conocéis alguna alternativa que tome el testigo?

Tonight, I'll be swapping out the Audio library from SDL3 to libVLC and getting the android version in a more-or-less working state!
The fun begins at around 8:30 PM Eastern.
If i can just find a USB hub that supports me plugging a USB cable that has a ADB server on the other end into the hub, have the devices seen, we will be off to the races!
over TCP for now i guess. Remote recover image flashing upgrades are broken until i can figure out a hub. The hub doesn't need ethernet! I have some tp-link dongles that work great.

What's shifted in the world of Linux on android - #anlinux is a solid option now? How about tricking sites via mobile browser into thinking you are on a desktop - ie. To get widevine working to watch #defectivebydesign content without Google Play services ?
