It looks like they have been drawn, but they are old routes from a couple years ago.</p><p>So first step would be to give <a href="https://radikal.social/tags/OpenStreetMap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenStreetMap</span></a> an up to date version of the bus routes.</p><p>But to my understanding OSM is not interested in timetable information, which I'd need for a Google Maps replacement. Which is where the second step of having a <a href="https://radikal.social/tags/OpenTripPlanner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenTripPlanner</span></a> server comes in.</p>
Sigmundur<p>Earlier this year I had a medical incident resulting in me being prohibited from driving for 6 months.</p><p>The bus routes in <a href="https://radikal.social/tags/T%C3%B3rshavn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Tórshavn</span></a> are only on Google Maps (which I'd rather not use), but I know the municipality has <a href="https://radikal.social/tags/GTFS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GTFS</span></a> files of their routes.</p><p>So I am now thinking about asking if I can get them, and then spinning up a <a href="https://radikal.social/tags/OpenTripPlanner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenTripPlanner</span></a> server...</p><p>My energy is probably better spent elsewhere, but the techy in me wants to give it a try lmao</p>
